
The 2023 McCombs Marketing Case Competition, was sponsored by Salesforce. My team and I had the opportunity to compete against other MSM and MBA students in The McCombs School of Business.
We were tasked with developing a strategic and comprehensive marketing plan to promote Salesforce AppExchange using AI-driven insights. The project duration was 6 days.
Our team won third place as the only MSM team in the top three. We also won the award for Best Visual Presentation!
Research
We started off by conducting in-depth research about the market, the brand, the opportunity areas, and the target market


Next, we identified two broad buckets of target audiences and their problems as mentioned below
Along with that, we created a customer journey while highlighting their pain points in order to come up with relevant solutions


Solution
Our solution is a 3-pronged approach using Predictive & Generative AI, Sentiment AI, and Personalization. The 3 pronged approach ensures we reach out to the right customer at the right time and at the right place in order to get higher conversions
